disk geometry

hi all,

is it possible to manually change what solaris sees for disk geometry?
i need to replace a mirrored disk in Sol8, DiskSuite 4.2.1 and would
prefer to change the geometry table if possible rather than manually
creating partitions of the same cylinder size. i recall doing this
before but can't locate the method used.
