cannot mount /proc

Hi

I was wondering if I could get a little help on this. A client of ours'
Solaris 2.5.1 Box (Ultra1) no longer comes up. Instead it complains
about "Overlapping swap files are not allowed" followed by "Could not
mount /proc"

any ideas?
