Could someone explain the difference, if any, between applying the
latest patch cluster to the 3/05 release of Solaris 10 and installing
the 1/06 release?
In other words, if my jumpstart environment installed the 3/05 release
and downloading and installing the latest patch cluster was always part
of the process, would there be any advantage or need to update the
jumpstart environment with the 1/06 release?
Also, what does the "s10_74L2a" part of the /etc/release file represent,
the build number?
# cat /etc/release
Solaris 10 3/05 s10_74L2a SPARC
