Emulex HBA Leadville Drivers and STMS

Hello Gurus;

I understand that Sun is now selling OEM Emulex HBAs.

Does this mean my long wait for Leadville complaint drivers for Emulex
HBAs (LP9002, LP9802-DCE is now over?

The above has some signficant implications.

I have not been able to use STMS with Emulex HBAs since their drivers
are non Leadville.

If Sun releases the Leadville drivers (Sun SAN 4.4.7?), does this mean I
can now do away with Veritas DMP and/or PowerPath? (Both of which I
intensly dislike, particularly PP).

I really like scsi_vhci's single LUN concept.

Has anyone here done a fiber boot with STMS as yet? I understand you are
not allowed to run commands like devfsadm -C?

How then to clear old links in such a situation?

Warmest Regards
Steven Sim
