Anyone out there able to configure a US Robotics External Modem on a Solaris8? I am trying to dial out to a ppp site using a US Robotics 56K modem on a Sunblade 100 with no avail.
I tried all kinds of combination on ports and baud rate speeds with no success.
/etc/uucp/Dialers, System and Devices has modified with all kinds of settings. It dials out and connect yet it comes backup with unreadable characters. I thought for sure this is a baud rate issue. I used 300 - 115200 speed to no avail.
