Hi Sun Managers
We recently had an outage where we had to start up our systems from Lom
and discovered that the
Lom passwords were either not set or incoherently set.
After searching we found the following to change the Lom passwords on
our Solaris 9 V240 servers
/usr/platform/`uname -i`/sbin/scadm userpassword admin , which should
prompt for a new password
Has anyone experience with this procedure and drawbacks or risks for a
live system.
