Serial connection

Hi,

I would like to connect a SUN Enterprise 3500 Server from the serial
interface.

I configured the hyperterminal to 96008N1 and used a serial cable
delivered from SUN. But I didn't get connection to this server. With the
same configuration I could connect other SUN machines (like V240, V440,
...)

Are there anything else to do for getting connection. Is it necessery to
reboot the machine after doing those changes?
