Hello
I have two senario related to NTP,

1-
I have setup NTP server on one of my servers and here is my ntp.conf :

server 192.168.50.121
fudge 192.168.50.121 stratum 0

broadcast 192.168.50.255 ttl 4

enable auth monitor
driftfile /var/ntp/ntp.drift
statsdir /var/ntp/ntpstats/
#filegen peerstats file peerstats type day enable
#filegen loopstats file loopstats type day enable
#filegen clockstats file clockstats type day enable

#keys /etc/inet/ntp.keys
#trustedkey 0
#requestkey 0
#controlkey 0

and here is ntp.conf on clients side:
multicastclient 192.168.50.255

as you see I have changed the Multicast address to 192.168.50.255 , but now
when I run snoop on clients, still broadcasts are sent to 224.0.1.1 ,
then changed
the multicast option to broadcast and again it shows broadcast is
sending the packets
to 224.0.1.1.
Note : when I run snoop on NTP server I see that both clients are sending
membership report but no changes have been apploed to clients date !!!!

I have changed the time and date of clients to see if they
can adjust themself to the NTP Server , but they don't adjust themself .
how much they can be adjusted , I mean are they suppose to adjust even
the day and month
or only hour and minute ?

2-second senario
I removed the broadcast option in ntp.conf on client side and sever to make
it peer connection and not broadcast, but still time is not adjusted to
server .

Please help :)
thanks
