All, NTP is configured and has been for quite some time. I stopped NTP
verified it could see the NTP servers and confirmed that the 2500
servers in our environment are correct with NTP. The systems starts to
update it self if I stop/start NTP via xntpd but then it goes back. Im
going to replace the chassis tomorrow since I believe the NVRAM/battery
is dead.

You are right...the battery might be gone. The best way to fix this is
to
setup ntpd on your E450. Simply use one of the pool of ntp servers,
start the
daemon and away you go...should be pretty painless.

See the attached guide on howto setup ntp in Solaris 8.
