Hi Gurus,
I have a question related Flash Archive.
I have setup Solaris 10 with Veritas root mirror. Now i am trying to
create Flash Archive from that box. If i am not wrong this Flash Archive
will not install Veritas packages neigther will it mirror the root disk
which i will jumpstart with this flash Archive correct? If thats the
case i need to exclude all the Veritas packages from file system or
leave it as is and install all VXVM and VRTS packages later after flash
jumpstart?
Also i am trying to exlude certain directories from Flash Archive like
/opt/oracle but it doesn't seems to exclude the same as i see the
Archive size same before or after exclusion.
Below is the syntex i use to create Archive.
flarcreate -n "Solaris 10 PRD Flash" -a "shahb" -R / -x /var/tmp/ -x
/var/log/ -x /tmp/ -x /opt/oracle/ /mnt/flash/s10_0305_SUNWCall_PRD.flar
