Problems Jumpstarting Solaris 9 on Sun Fire V240

Hi all,

I have a jumpstart server on my x86 PC, which runs Solaris 10 final with
Jumpstart Enterprise Toolkit (JET).

I'm trying to install Solaris 9/04 on a new SF V240, (UltraSPARC-IIIi 1500
MHz CPU), but the net boot dies with an 'Illegal Instruction':

I know there's nothing wrong with the install server, because I've
installed Solaris 9 on at least 20 240s. This new box has Solaris 9
pre-installed, with the same patch-level as the one I'm trying to load.

To get it to boot off the net at all I still have to replace the
/tftpboot/inetboot.SUN4U.Solaris_9-1 with the inetboot from Solaris 10.
See:
http://www.sunmanagers.org/pipermail/sunmanagers/2005-April/035562.html

As you can see both RARP/Bootparams are working fine. The last file I see
being read (by recording the traffic with snoop) is 'pcisch'.

Any help greatly appreciated.

/Magnus
