I have downloaded and installed Studio 11 software however the compiler
is building code in 32 bit mode even though the server is in 64bit.

I have found the following flag that seems to work, but is there
anywhere i.e. a common file that we can put this into so that we can
simply run the cc command and have it executed with this flag pre set?

The flag is as follows : cc xtargt=native64
