Need help How to UP the production box remotely.

 Hello Sir,

Since last 4 months I am working in 24/7 production environment handling basic operations like user admin, file system tasks etc.

Last night one of our production box crashed and went down to OK prompt.

My senior and team lead he had resolved the issue and I've requested him what are the steps have taken to make UP the box. But he is not interested to reveal all the steps indetails and just he told me that through CONSOLE ACCESS resolved.

I am reuesting all the managers could you please provide the steps for CONSOLE ACCESS and I've one more clarification on interface PLUMB UNPLUMB vs UP DOWN.
