Hi,
We are using Svm (formerly knows as Disksuite) on a Solaris 8 machine.
On this machine I have 2 luns of 682Gb each.
I'm trying to create a stripeset of these 2 disks, so that I'm getting a
metadevice of +/- 1.5TB.
On this metadevice I want to create softpartitions.
When creating the metadevice of 1.5Tb I didn't get any errors.
But when creating a softpartition of 40Gb (metainit d100 -p d80 40000m), I'm
getting the error:
metainit: nemo: free: error writing extent header
metastat d100 says that it is still creating.
Isn't it possible to create a metadevice bigger then 1Tb, or what else could
the problem be?
Any help would be appreciated.
