Hi every body,
I m new to the list.
We have a sunfire V880 with solaris 8, 6 disks of 73GB (two in mirror for
system and 4 in raid5 for data), 2 cpus, 4GB Ram.
We have an oracle database on the server.
We have 2 problems whith this configuration:
1. Server is too slow even if we hava installed the last sun patchs.
2. When i connect to the server, it gives me "Sourcing
/root/.profile-EIS...." and the prompt is "root@server #"
what can i do for that?
