hello

this is some additional information on a question that i sent earlier on.

i hadn't started ths ssh daemon. there are no other solaris workstations .I do have a trial version of ssh for windows on my machine which uses GUI . The prompt that i am getting comes after the following message

  The host machine has reset.
i then get the C prompt which doesn't allow me to type in anything.
rsh and rlogin have not been disabled although i had already configured the sshd_config file not to allow any remote logins.

try rsh / ssh like this

rsh "ksh -i"
ssh "ksh -i"

this gives you a interactive ksh

Subject: Telnet on Solaris 9

Hello

I just made a mistake in configuring Secure shell on a Solaris server. My monitor is not working and was using a hyperterminal and it slipped my mind not to disable telnet as i was disabling all insecure services

i want ot find out if there is a way of logging on to the server because all i am getting now is a C prompt where i cannot type in any commands. All i have now is server on which i cannot do anything.

Please help as this is very urgent. I will summarise
