putting metadb on SAN

Hello,
I have an 280R running Solaris 8 that I connected to a SAN (EMC Clariion).
The internal disks are not under DiskSuite control, but I want to put the LUN
from the SAN under DiskSuite control.
Does anyone see any problem with creating a small partition on the LUN from
the SAN and putting the metadb's on it?
