Hello All;
One of my customer has asked me to enabel Jumbo Frames for the ce ports
(x4444A) Quad Gig HBA (4 x ce ports).
Looking at Sun Solve Document 72355, I see that to set it all I have to
do is to add the following line to the ce.conf file;
accept-jumbo=1
However, I am very skeptical as to the actual performance.
Isn't the window size determine by other factors (e.g. collisions,
traffic, fragmenting etc etc)? Would this also impact CPU utilization
negatively?
Any comments?
