dear sunmanagers -

when i transfer files to my e220r via scp or when i gunzip a large no.
of gzipped files - i see this in /var/adm/messages:

i have analyzed the disk w/ format, analyze, read - and the disk
passed both passes. any ideas? i reseated the drives this AM, and did
the gunzip test, and did not receive the below errors - but the
machine was off the whole night before.

also - upon boot, i see "boot device" is set to "vx-rootdisk" which i
am not sure of? might this be related to the above error (or a
previous mirror setup), or is vx-rootdisk harmless, and just an alias
to the current root disk?

thanks,
sg
