RE: We could not fail over the oracle resource

I have a question.
I think I have identified the problem. One instance is already
Running on the node, switching over the another instance to the same
node
Requires listener to start. So, listener is already running for the
existing oracle
instance. Starting listener is failing due to that!!!
Is there any way to overcome that problem?

Subject: We could not fail over the oracle resource

Hi Gurus,

I have a problem. I have three instances. Two of them are contained in
The ha-ora-rg group. One of them is contained ha-RTMS-rg.
Ha-ora-rg can run on cluster1. ha-RTMS-rg can run on cluster2.
Ha-ora-rg or ha-RTMS-rg can not switch over to the another node. There
is nothing valnurable in the messages file. I have look at
Oracle_listener and oracle_server in the "/var/opt/SUNWscor".
I have seen nothing in these files. Could you please help me what
Files I need to check.
I have look at listener.ora and tnsnames.ora. They seem to be identical.

initLES.ora, initRTMS.ora, initTELE.ora are in the shared storage.
Spfiles
Which are referred in the initialization files are also in the shared
storage.

Regards,

Asiye Yigit
