Hello,
We have several Sun V440 boxes running Solaris 9. I added the 9_Recommended
patches to one of the servers (as theres like 10 of them to do) anywho..I
unzipped the package in / then went into the dir and ran ./install_cluster
then wait.. once it was done ..i brought the machine up ( i was connected to
the SC port ) once the machine booted up i noticed that none of the
interfaces had come up where as befor the upgrade the interface came up all
on there own. In doing some research i guess theres a bug that if you dont
put netmask + in the /etc/hostname.ce0 or whatever or the machine wont set
the netmask to the interfaces. I did this and still the interfaces wont come
up at boot as they did before this upgrade.. anyone run into this ?
