I do not know the X2100 yet, but it is i86pc based.
The settings are stored in the eeprom. You can see these settings
with the "eeprom" command (as root).
I use the following three commands for setting it to serial A. Default
is 9600/8N1:
eeprom ttya-ignore-cd=true
eeprom input-device=ttya
eeprom output-device=ttya

Hi Sun Managers,
I am trying to get console output on the serial port.
Does anyone know how to do that?
I work w/ SPARC systems that automatically send out/put to serial A when
there
is no monitor or keyboard attached.
I do get output during the BIOS startup but I think when it actually goes
into
the system logon prompt I don't get anymore output on my serial port
connection.
