--- frm: Anthony Florendo There is a BIOS setting that redirects to console. --- --- frm: Marcel Knol I do not know the X2100 yet, but it is i86pc based. The settings are stored in the eeprom. You can see these settings with the "eeprom" command (as root). I use the following three commands for setting it to serial A. Default is 9600/8N1: eeprom ttya-ignore-cd=true eeprom input-device=ttya eeprom output-device=ttya --- ---Orig Question--- Hi Sun Managers, I am trying to get console output on the serial port. Does anyone know how to do that? I work w/ SPARC systems that automatically send out/put to serial A when there is no monitor or keyboard attached. I do get output during the BIOS startup but I think when it actually goes into the system logon prompt I don't get anymore output on my serial port connection. --- _______________________________________________ sunmanagers mailing list sunmanagers@sunmanagers.org http://www.sunmanagers.org/mailman/listinfo/sunmanagers _______________________________________________ sunmanagers mailing list sunmanagers@sunmanagers.org http://www.sunmanagers.org/mailman/listinfo/sunmanagers
