Hi all!!

I have a Ultra10 with Solaris 10 installed (works very fine). I'm doing first
steps to involve into OpenSolaris and need some help from you. But this question
is not from OpenSolaris, but Solaris.

I have OpenSolaris lastest bits already builded in my Ultra10, but can boot it
properly. This case is also discussed in opensolaris.org's forums. My question
here is how to capture boot errors from Ultra10's serial port with a serial
null-modem cable, connected to Linux/PC (also have Solaris x86 too). I also have
a Sun Netra X1 with LOM (may be a RJ45 connector to DB9) cable that's works very
good with the other Ultra10 workstation plugged in. I can see NetraX1's OpenBoot
from serial console, and manage some hardware related commands.

In the PC I need capture boot errors from the Ultra10 with serial null modem
cable, Linux with minicom or Solaris with tip, but I cannot see anything in the
remote terminal program. I probe with 9600,8,N,1 (OpenBoot settings) parameters,
the same that the NetraX1. Both machines have default settings in this case.

How to connect the Ultra10 and the PC with null serial modem cable? I need
reconfigure anything in the Ultra10's firmware? I tried modifying ttya-rts-ctrl
or input-device=ttya settings with no luck :-( Now I have default settings in
the Ultra10 firmware and I'm waiting to probe again with new ideas.

Can anyone help me?

Thank you very much!!
