Sunmanagers,
This is a fresh install of Solaris 10 on x86 with latest patches.
Everything is fine, except the rc3.d scripts are not executed at boot
time. Culprit seems to be svc:/system/install:default
# svcs -l svc:/system/install:default
fmri svc:/system/install:default
name install

state maintenance

Reason: Start method failed repeatedly, last exited with status 1.

Impact: 3 dependent services are not running:

svc:/network/inetd-upgrade:default
The log tells me it tries to execute /lib/svc/method/install-launcher,
but this file doesn't exist on my system.

After I disable the service, things don't get any better:

I don't find anything helpful neither in the docs nor on the web or in
the groups.
