Xutf8LookupString problem on Solaris 10

Dear managers,

we just ported one of our apps from Solaris 9 to Solaris 10. When I try
to enter something into a text field, the app crashes and logs

ld.so.1: /opt/GNUstep/System/Applications/SmartClient.app/SmartClient:
fatal: relocation error: file
/opt/GNUstep/System/Library/Bundles/libgnustep-back-010.bundle/./
libgnustep-back-010: symbol Xutf8LookupString: referenced symbol not
found

We haven't had this problem on Solaris 9. This makes me thinking that
the difference causing this problem is somewhere in Solaris or the
XFree implementation it's coming with. Any ideas where I can start to
track this down? I am clueless right now.
