Hi
we are using NIS for our datacenter and now there is a project to have
another datacenter backup for us , as everyone know , there is now way
to have two NIS master with the same domain
so what we will do is to have a master in Center #1 and slave in
Center #2 and when the center #1 goes down for any reason we will run
a script in the slave (in Center #2) to change some files and change
the slave to master
and when the the center #1 come back we return the slave (in center
#2) to slave again (this will be manual)
what do you thing guys? do you have any better plan ?
