We have a Sun Fire V440 at a field site that will not power on. The on
site user reported the following indications.
After depressing the system power button the power supplies turn on and
the hard drive status LEDs come on as well.
The system stays on for about 10 seconds. After that the power to the
system apparently turns off. The service required
LED is not lit on either of the power supplies or the system status
LEDs, and the Standby Available LED on both power supplies
Are lit.
I believe the user said that the system control switch is in normal.
Any advice or insight would be greatly appreciated.
