E4500 Solaris 8 Help with D1000

All, I have a E4500 and have installed a D1000 on a SBUS Differential
Card with a Differential Terminator with 12 Devices. I have installed
and removed it twice without any issues to mirror some EMC filesystems
and then disassociated the plex and imported into another system for
upgrade purposes. The server is running Volume Manager 3.2. I went to
re-install it a 3rd time about a week later and "probe-scsi-all" shows
all the devices but "format" has issues where "inq" fails unable to get
the "type" of drive and the OS cannot format it, drives 5-11 and cannot
be imported into Veritas. I have tested the D1000 in thoughts of
re-racking may have damaged it but it works fine on another systems.
The only difference was that I tested on a Netra 1480 with a PCI
Differential SCSI without the terminator. I have swapped out the SBUS
Diff Card on the 4500 but I get the same failed result. Could the Diff
terminator gone bad? Should I try the SBUS card on another I/O board?
I have another I/O board with a slot available to do this. The messages
file gets filled with "parity" errors when it boots up as well. It did
not do this the other 2 time connected. I have another window of
opportunity tomorrow night and any other suggestions would be
appreciated. As a FYI, I have cleaned up /dev/dsk/C8*, /dev/rdsk/c8*,
/dev/vx/dmp/c8* and /dev/vx/rdmp/c8* and rebooted with a "reboot -- -r"
each time and when connected to the 4500 now vxdisk list does not show
the devices c8t5-c8t11. Im thinking the terminator went south.
