HI all,

One of our Solaris 9 server has a Sun disc pack with 6 disc, each one
has a metadB on it - The remaining discs are in a RAID5 config using
Solstice Disc Suite. I am sure that the server has been rebooted in the
past.

However, after the reboot the md device disappeared and a metastat says:

[root@reggie]adm$ metastat
metastat: reggie: there are no existing databases

/etc/vfstab says:
/dev/md/dsk/d0 /dev/md/rdsk/d0 /staging ufs 2 yes
nosuid,loggin,noatime

Format can see all the discs. each metadB was held on slice 0 and the
data is on slice 6.
c2t9d0
c2t10d0
c2t11d0
c2t12d0
c2t13d0
c2t14d0

Has anybody seen something similar to this before, or would know how to
recover from this, or even a possible reason why this happened?

Many thanks, Simon.
