IPSEC Problem,

Hi all,
We are a problem with IPSec. IPSec had been configured between two of
our servers. We had also applied the 113451-09 patch to make the Keys valid
for 7 days.
On one server, we are getting "IKE_RETRY_LIMIT_REACHED ..." and
"IKE_INVALID_COOKIE".

On the other Server, we are getting "IKE_INVALID_COOKIE....Description:
Received invalid ISAKMP cookie". The communication went fine for exactly
seven days (eventhough these messages were recorded in the logs in those 7
days) but the connection failed exactly after the 7th day. Also, we
recorded "unable to qualify my own domain name -- using short name", "my
unqualified hostname unknown: sleeping for retry" on this server. The
domain/hostname errors were coming for a long time, even before IPSec was
setup.

Can anyone tell us what is going on? Will an "ipseckey flush" solve the
problem?

Thanks,

Vasisht,
India
