The problem can be solved by enabling the access from some IPs and disabling
it from others.

It can be done via tcp wrappers - host based security

Big thanks to Steve Nelso who doesn't think that I can't ask such questions
here and how spent his precious time to write a few lines

Subject: hack via SSH

Hi all,

Assume you need to hack a server via SSH. You will try users and passwords.

If I need to prevent this I would like to disable SSH requests with all
these tries from one IP address temporary.

Can I configure it and how?

Bets Regards

Alex
