Good morning everyONE
We have one print server (Solaris 9) that serve more than 800 users
with 300 printers
The users workstations are : Solaris 9, Solaris 8 , Linux and SGI
our plan is to add another server and make it as a Load balancing
servers or High Availability servers
but my questions is :
1. Does any one have any idea or procedure to do that ? please share it with
us
2. What if we do it in the client side ? I mean Linux is using Lprng
and it's possible to configure the Linux clients to use 2 print
servers (if one down, go to the other) ( check
http://www.lprng.com/LPRng-Reference-Multipart/x3595.htm).
So is that possible to do it in Solaris client ? how ?
