Sol X86 and Intel SE7520JR2

Hi Sun Managers group

I would like to get any advice on getting X86 loaded on an Intel
SE7520JR2 with the SCSI option.

I am tripping up on devices that are listed in the HCL as being supported?.
Essentially all onboard chips:
ICH5-R controller
LSI controller (recognises - no issues)
ATI Rage XL graphics
E7520 chipset (Also used on Dell, IBM, HP systems)
dual Intel 1G network ports

When I start loading, the system reads the DCA from CD, but when I must
select the boot device, the CD-Rom has disappeared.

OK, so I do what you normally do under these circumstances:
setprop acpi_user_options '0x2' (no option in bios to disable, so this
is second best)

At first this looks good, I can see everything.

However, when I now select the CD to boot from for loading, it tells me:
"Can't open - no hsfs VTOC"

Normally this would indicate that the CD is bad, typical of a self made
CD from ISO. However this is not the case. The media is the official Sun
media that I have verified to work on another system by loading.

I suspect this requires additional tweaks to the DCA, but based on the
limited time available I do not have too much time to experiment.

(I know I will have to load patch 119375 for 73GB disks.)

Any assitance will be appreciated.

Thanks

Derek
