Hi,

We have 2 SUn Blade 1000 with similar network confiugration. Their external
names are different host1 and host2, but their internal names are similar
"is". These internal network cards have the same IP address.

I have disabled ip forwarding on both these machines by creating
/etc/notrouter files.

Both these machines use the same defalut router.

The problem is that we have duplicate IP clashes ( The internal IP's on both
the hosts are clashing) on both these hosts.

What baffles me is that why should both the internal IP's which are hidden
IP's should clash?

We are running Solaris 8.
