Greetings,
I am interested to find out what kern.error, kern.crit,
kern.alert messages can be generated by hardware events on SunFire
servers (Solaris 9).
We recently had a PS problem with a V210 which generated 'PSU @ PS0 has
FAULTED' and I presume all standard and optional servers components have
a range of kern messages that will be generated under abnormal conditions.
Does Sun have a listing buried somewhere... initial searching drew a blank.
Failing this, is there common keywords used in syslog messages that are
used in "fault" or "error" conditions?
