SS10 - Solaris 8 vs Solaris 9 performance

Current system is SS10, 2xSM41, 128MB RAM, 4GB 7200rpm HDD, GX fb, and
second network interface. It's running Solaris 8 10/01 current patches as
of about 2 months ago. Primary functions are personal workstation and NAT
firewall (ipfilter protection among other things), squid proxy.
What I'm wondering is performance wise, what would be better.. Fresh
install of Solaris 8 2/02 or Solaris 9.

The prompt replies usually recieved from the list are best here.. I'll be
out of town 2 weeks leaving Friday, so if I have time I'll summarize
before I leave.
Thanks much,
Jeff Markham
