VxVM Upgrade

Hi Sun Managers:

Sorry about the off-topic question, but we are in a hurry. We have an
old sparc system running Solaris 8 1/01(U3) and VxVM 3.0.4, and we need
urgently to upgrade to VxVM 4.0
We know there are several compatibility issues, because the OS is too
old . Upgrading Solaris is not posible now. Do you have any
suggestions/tips to complete a successful upgrade, or simply is not
posible with this OS version?
