Hello Managers,
We have CVS set up in one of our servers and just now realized that a
user can log into CVS
When CVS does not shows a login id or passwd for him.
I'm not that familiar with CVS but I'm being able to see that the passwd
file under
chdevfs1:/chdevfs-dg/vol01/common/fi/mbsdevel/repository/FixedIncome/CVS
ROOT/passwd
which contain cvs users login ids does not contain that particular user
who is being able to log into
CVS, Howerver that user is part of the system meaning he has a login id
on this NIS system
but I though that to have access to CVS only user(s) which were in the
above mentioned "passwd" file
will be able to log into CVS.
Can someone please explain why this user is being able to log into CVS
when his login id is not
In the CVS passwd file?
