Can someone tell if this is possible.
I'm replacing a Sun Fire 480R with 1280.
Is it possible to do a restore? rather than a rebuild.
I have done the Restore, but everytime I try and boot it doesn't see the dev/rdsk/c1t0d0s0 and s1 devices. When I boot via Cdrom the devices show up?
a Reconfig boot does not work either!
