Can one of you scripters out there help me I need a file that has a
series of one up sequences (index, tape volume numbers and two digit
text field) sample:
0 500001 500001 li
1 500002 500002 li
...
for 1000 iterations. I obviously don't want to fat finger this file and
I know that I should be able to do this with an awk string of commands.
Any help would be appreciated.
