problem with print in mozilla/firefox/thunderbird

hello all,
on a solaris 9 (sparc) server, witch Xprint installed we lose list of
printers in Printer menu.
I don't if it's due to last cluster of patches or last upgrade of mozilla
anybody noticed the same problem?
i'm trying to access xprint.mozdev.org without success

anybody knows if xprint is needed on solaris 10?

actually, it is only possible to print on default printer with driver
Postscript/default
