Here is the one more error when i am trying to mount cdrom
when i am saying /etc/init.d/volmgt start it is comming back with
volmanagement starting. but i am not able to access cdrom
# /etc/init.d/volmgt start
volume management starting.
and in mnttan file i found this entry which i am not able to delete
usxsl038:vold(pid6515) /vol nfs ignore,noquota,dev=4e00004 1125335503
(usxsl038 is the hostname)
and when i am saying cd /vol
its hanging up....
i found that vold daemon is not running on my server so when i tried to
start vold its comming up this error
# ./vold start
Mon Aug 29 14:51:18 2005 fatal: mounting of "/vol" failed
can anybody help me in fixing the problem
