Hello Admins,
I had a system which crashed.
After rebooting I had to run fsck for the root file system, the only one corrupted.
When the system came up I had about 2000 files in /lost+found.
If I take any inode number from /lost+found and do a find for it in /
# find / -xedv -inum #39194 -print
I can find a file name somewhere in /var/SUNWvts/... for example.
I have /var/under / (not a mounting point).
I think I'm missing something since I think I should not have the same inode
number in /lost+found and in other directory like /var (maybe I'm wrong).
Is there any procedure to recover the files from /lost+found,
that is to put them back into the directory where they belong to?
TIA,
Marco
