Hi All,

Urgent help needed !!

we had running PC Netlink V2.0 with patch 113531-08 and 113530-02 and
had sometimes minor problems with writing data for PC clients to the
server.

Now I updated PC Netlink with the most recent patches for PC-Netlink
server (113511-09) and netbios (113530-03). After the update we have now
problems if more than one user accesses the same file; e.g. for *.exe
files for the first client access it works OK but if a second PC client
try to access the same *.exe file on the PC the error message comes up,
that the *.exe file is not a Win-32 application.

The PC Netlink server registry entries for EnableSoftCompat and
EnableSoftFileExtensions are "1" and "bat com exe dll cmd"; the default
values as mentioned on p. 330 in the PC Netlink Admin guide.

We did not made changes in the registry during update and this problem
did not occur before the patch update.

Are there any other PC Netlink installations with the latest patches
mentioned out there and may be have similar problems. Any help,
information or advice are highly appreciated.

Thanks and best regards,

Anton
