UTAUDIO: Problems With Sun Ray Server 3.0 Update 1. (fairly time critical)

I'm running JDSv2 on a 2.4Ghz Xeon w/4Gb of RAM. It's running the SRSS
3.0 update 1 beta. About 5 Sun Ray's are attached. After testing, specs
of servers will be beefed up and about 80 Sun Ray 1's will be attached.

We use a derivative of Teamspeak as a VoIP package. It is not aware of
the $UTAUDIODEV environment variable so we are using Sun's redirection
library to redirect it's grab of /dev/dsp. Currently, we are having five
users that have a basic JDS desktop, Mozilla, Staroffice, and the VoIP
client open.

For the first couple of minutes, all is well. CPU utilization for each
utaudio session is about 5%. However, after a couple minutes, load
average jumps to over 12 and CPU utilization for each utaudio session
jumps to 60-90% regardless of whether or not anyone is talking(users
have to hold a key to talk). The audio starts to skip, and the voice
becomes non-understandable.

The sessions never drops in CPU consumption until the user logs out.

For example:

*Code:*
PID USER PRI NI SIZE RSS SHARE STAT %CPU %MEM TIME COMMAND
16569 eafualo 25 0 972 972 784 R 97.6 0.0 45:19 utaudio

That example is cut from a user that isn't even at her terminal and the
VoIP room she is in is empty. No audio is passing in either direction,
her mic is not active. She is the only person logged into the server.

Anyone have any ideas what could cause this?
