Dear Sun-Managers,
I have a clarifying questions. I am running Solairs 8 and diskSuite
(how do I find out what verison it is??) with mirrered local drives. I
need to do an upgrade to this system the roll back for this upgrade is not
very trvial or not possible at all. What I wanted to do at a conceptual
level is to break the mirror and pull out one of the drives. Now do the
upgrade. If everything went fine, then I will insert the other drive
and have it sync up. If things go south with the upgrade, I will boot off
of the original drive and sync the drive other way. Conceptual it all
looks fine, but I dont know how to do this. Can you please point me to
any document or process that exists for this? Any caveats? Thanks a lot.
