Sun Remote System Card Issue

Gurus:

I am having a serious issue trying to contact an E250 running Solaris 8. In
the past, I would communicate with the server via OpenSSH only. However,
recently, I configured the RSC card / software and was able to communicate
with it through the RSC GUI. I wanted to then have the console / keyboard
of the server output to the RSC. I entered the following commands from a
terminal window:

eeprom input-device rsc-console
eeprom output-device rsc-console

I then recycled the server and no information appeared on the monitor. When
I went to contact my server, via OpenSSH or RSC, neither responded to my
attempts to ping or communicate in any fashion. I have gone back to the
server, done a hard reboot, tried to get the output back to the monitor by
attempting to <stop a> the server after the hard reboot and "set defaults"
for the nvram. No luck. Does anyone have any idea why my server would stop
responding on the ethernet port as well as the RSC?

TIA !!!

Paul Fiengo
