All,
I am fairly new to shell scripting. However I am trying to create a small
script that takes certain files and copies them to a directory. However when
it copies them to the directory I would like them to be copied as
$FILE.$HOSTNAME where $FILE is any file copied and where the $HOSTNAME is the
output of the hostname command which I tried to set as a variable in the
beginning of the script. However, I dont know how to get the script to
execute the hostname command then attach it to the file I created. Any help
would be greatly appreciated.

Thank You,
   Jason Polachak
