Folks,

On a Solaris 9 x86 box (kernel 118559-05), I'm getting the following warning
in /var/adm/messages .

Aug 4 23:35:35 asterix ip: [ID 903730 kern.warning] WARNING: IP: Hardware
address '00:0b:cd:69:07:a9' trying to be our address 147.151.042.072!

Unfortunately, that MAC address IS the one of the network card of this box
itself.

/$ ifconfig -a
lo0: flags=1000849<UP,LOOPBACK,RUNNING,MULTICAST,IPv4> mtu 8232 index 1
        inet 127.0.0.1 netmask ff000000
bcme0: flags=1000843<UP,BROADCAST,RUNNING,MULTICAST,IPv4> mtu 1500 index 2
        inet 147.151.42.72 netmask ffffffe0 broadcast 147.151.42.95
        ether 0:b:cd:69:7:a9
/$

Am I missing something here or does anyone know how to get this fixed?

Thanks in advance

Loris
