Interface in not RUNNING state

Hi managers,
I have a server
Sun Fire v440
Solaris 9

The server has 2 interfaces, the ce1 is not showing the RUNNING state
therefore is not answering ping from another servers and from it to
another servers.

When trying the same tests from other servers into the same subnet, it works.

I tried plumb, up, and the commands to configure the hme1 interfaces
but not working.

ce0: flags=1000843<UP,BROADCAST,RUNNING,MULTICAST,IPv4> mtu 1500 index 2
        inet 10.78.1.40 netmask ffff0000 broadcast 10.100.255.255
        ether 0:3:ba:7e:54:61
ce1: flags=1000803<UP,BROADCAST,MULTICAST,IPv4> mtu 1500 index 3
        inet 125.139.199.14 netmask ffffff00 broadcast 125.139.199.255
        ether 0:3:ba:7e:54:61

Any ideas?
